The Watchung Hills Junior Warrior Football Association and the Watchung Hills Football League were created to provide a positive youth football and cheer experience to the children of the Watchung Hills Regional High School sending districts. The league was developed to cultivate a fun and enjoyable environment for young athletes to develop the fundamental skills that will be essential in preparing them for a successful high school career. The program is open to boys and girls in grades K-8, who reside in Watchung Borough, Green Brook, Long Hill and Warren Township. The league’s doctrines include Fun Football and Cheer, Family, Friends and Fundamentals.

Important Announcements & Dates

Online Registration:  We wanted to bring everyone up to date on this year's Junior Warrior registration process. This year we will be moving to an Online Registration process available through our website in the registration section. Your children will also receive a 2008 Registration Flyer in school explaining the important points of our program and where to go to register. The Registration process will be available on our website starting February 15, 2008.

2008 Junior Warrior Online Registration Process:  This year as we did last year there will be 3 phases to our registration process. Early Registration, General Registration and Late Registration.

Early Registration:  Returning Cheerleaders, Football Players and their siblings who register online for the 2008 season between February 15 and February 28, 2008 will receive a $25.00 discount on our normal registration fees.  To be eligible for the discount you must be a returning Cheerleader, Football Player or a sibling of a registered Cheerleader or Player from the 2007 season and you must register online between February 15 and February 28, 2008.

  • Flag Football and Flag Cheer:  (Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade) - $100
  • Tackle Football and Cheer:  (grades 3 through 8 Including Travel Teams) - $175
    Additional Fees may apply for Junior Skyland Football and Competitive Cheer


General Registration:  General Registration will only be available online this year from March 1, 2008 through April 30, 2008.

  • Flag Football and Flag Cheer: (Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade): $125
  • Tackle Football and Cheer: (grades 3 through 8): $200
    Additional fees may apply for Junior Skyland Football and Competitive Cheer


Late Registration:  Late registration will apply to all online registrations between May 1, 2008 and May 31, 2008. After June 1, 2008 registration will be closed for the Junior Warrior 2008 season.

  • Flag Football and Flag Cheer: (Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grade): $225
  • Tackle Football and Cheer: (grades 3 through 8): $300
